The Ancra Load Choker for 50mm Webbing is a forged steel alloy fitting that transforms a standard tie-down strap into a choker-style restraint for loose loads such as timber, pipe, and steel stock. It works by creating a 2:1 mechanical advantage on the webbing as it wraps the load, which restricts movement from all directions and significantly outperforms a traditional belly-wrap tie-down. Faster to deploy than chains or multiple straps, the load choker reduces total time spent on loading and unloading — particularly valuable on multi-delivery routes where every strap operation adds up. Manufactured from drop-forged alloy steel with a rolled-edge design that protects the 50mm webbing from wear against the fitting, extending strap life. Rated to a 2,500kg lashing capacity.
